Lo Rey du Lac was created in 2011 by Anne and Pascal Bahegne, eager to embark on a new professional adventure. After years of traveling around France on assignments with their four children, Anne and Pascal returned to their native region in 2010. Moving into the family home on the estate, a charming 18th-century Landes farmhouse, they set about renovating it with a view to opening their chambres d’h\u00f4tes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The first season is a success. Guests are delighted with the services offered at Lo Rey du Lac: the warm welcome of<\/strong> our hosts and the cosy comfort of our Berg\u00e8re, Marie-Lucie and Suite Eug\u00e9nie rooms. Pascal and Anne then embarked on another equally exciting project: to revive the family campsite<\/strong> once established on their land. Twenty years earlier, the Rey campsite had closed its doors after decades of activity, welcoming hundreds of campers with their tents and caravans every summer to relax with their families in the Landes region.<\/p>\n

Their dream took shape in 2013 with the opening of Lo Rey du Lac’s first unusual accommodation:
\n la bulle<\/strong>
\n<\/a>. An original, futuristic and totally avant-garde concept, since it was little known in France at the time. It’s a transparent bubble, permanently inflated by a blower system, offering a 180\u00b0 view of the surrounding nature and, as the ultimate reward, an opening onto the starry sky. Lo Rey du Lac continues to build on its success, adding new, equally original structures year after year: the geode<\/strong>, the perched hut<\/strong>, the
\n Finnish chalet<\/strong>
\n<\/a> or the gypsy caravan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
